Luke Jory goes by the nick name JOZ. He works out west as a gas driller, 2 weeks on 2 weeks off. Not only is this an insight into an interesting dude but also some of the Sunnycoasts sickest waves from over the past year.
Luke, You're right about not taking the surf for granted. I'm an architect in Chicago now. It's been over thirty years since I was a kid paddling out for a wave in Cocoa Beach. Man I miss the water drops that would jump off the lip onto my face from a crisp curl on a springtime wave. I'm looking at retirement and goin back to my roots. Gotta get back in shape though. Thanks for the reminder of what I took for granted back then.
